Introduction
CoMA is at the forefront of commissioning works from leading composers which are artistically challenging yet technically suited to the demands of amateur players.
Since its foundation, CoMA’s programme of commissioning has benefited from the funds of a number of trusts and foundations. Establishing our own commissioning scheme will enable us to build from this base, securing our ongoing programme of creating contemporary repertoire for amateur musicians.
com>missionings enables you to participate in the continued creation of such repertoire and ensure a lasting musical legacy for future generations.
How it works
You can contribute towards:
- Open Score commissions (flexibly-scored works for unspecified ensemble)
- Large-scale works (allcomers works for orchestra & voices)
- A com>missionings trust fund (securing future commissions)
You choose how much to contribute, with £25 as a suggested minimum. You can pay by cheque, on the internet, or spread the cost with a standing order.

com>missionings welcomes contributions from individuals, ensembles and organisatons. Donations to com>missionings make ideal gifts and you can request to have the certificate of contribution to be sent to any recipient you choose, with a personal message.
